Hydrophobic Additive (ADD SC 3001)

ADD SC 3001 is a hydrophobically modified acrylic dispersion designed to formulate waterborne water repellent self-cleaning lotus effect exterior facade paints. The coatings formulate with this dispersion show excellent hydrophobicity with large contact angles and high water roll-off, excellent weatherability, good adhesion on various masonry substrates. The formulated paints show excellent recoatability at any time. ADD SC 3001 can be infinitely diluted with deionized water and compatible with commercially available emulsions/ PUD etc.

Typical Applications

ADD SC 3001 is used for formulating waterborne exterior self-cleaning lotus effect paints. It can also be used to formulate hydrophobic coatings for paper, metal and wooden surfaces. ADD SC 3001 has excellent binding capacity can be used by replacing binders (Emulsion/PUD) in equal proportion.

Heat Resistant Silicone Resin

HR-Si 60 is used for making coatings for chimneys, muffler, ovens, barbeques and other heat-resistant applications areas. HR-Si 60 can be used as a primer for any heat-resistant top coats. It can be diluted with common aromatic, alcohol and ester solvents. When formulated properly metallic or other specialized pigments, it can give heat resistance up to 650oC.

Silicone PU Polymer (ACRYPOL 120)

ACRYPOL 120 is a Silicone functionalized acrylic polyol resin which cures with isocyanate to give high gloss anti-graffiti polyurethane coating. The coating is resistant to stains like tea, coffee, shoe polish, turmeric, sauce, and alcohol. Permanent marker inks can easily be removed from its surface by simple wiping with cloth or tissue paper.
