Steamat
Steamat® by Imerys is an innovative, cost-effective matting agent based on engineered talc-chlorite. It possesses specially defined particle size distribution which diffuses light with high efficiency from the paint film. It exhibits lamellar morphology, specific mineralogy and high apparent density. It offers easy dispersion and good mud-cracking resistance while maintaining opacity and porosity. It provides excellent scrub- and weathering resistance. Steamat® is suitable for solvent- & water-borne systems as well as decorative interior and exterior paints.
Steashield 10
Steashield™ 10 by Imerys is an ultra-lamellar talc. It offers minimized settling, corrosion- and salt-spray- resistance. It is easy to formulate and provides exceptional barrier properties to stain-blocking paints and corrosion resistant coatings including coil and epoxy coatings. The particle shape of SteaShield™ 10 creates physical barrier which protects the paint substrate by impairing diffusion of water and corrosive agents through the film. It imparts significantly limiting stain migration and enhances anti-cracking-, adhesion- and UV protection in high-value paints. This cost-effective solution is suitable for both solvent- and water-based systems.
Steopac
Steopac® by Imerys is a fine high brightness talc/chlorite, opacifying agent designed for prime pigment extension in architectural and decorative paints & coatings. This fine grade is easily dispersible in solvent- and water-borne systems reducing energy consumption and improving productivity. Steopac® offers optimal opacity, gloss adjustment, rheology control and barrier properties.
